After a successful pitch, I produced two commercials for German sports brand Erima. Those are currently shown in sport stadiums and local TV stations to promote Erima’s sponsorship engagement for German football club TSV 1860 München and handball club TBV Lemgo. Erima’s aim was to communicate their slogan Gemeinsam gewinnen [Winning Together] and to show that they produce equipment for professional athletes as well as for everyday sportsmen and women. It was also supposed to be close to the audience’s mind setting and absolutely not looking like the advertisements of their competitors. Therefore we decided to film professional athletes in action and to transfer the footage into an animation technique that is purely handcrafted and can be understood by everyone: paper-cuts.
